Creatine Muscle Diagram - Creatine Information on "How it Works"

This diagram outlines what happens inside your muscles when using Creatine.Muscle Cell Diagram with Creatine

Creatine - Creatine   Muscle Nuclei - Muscle Nuclei    DNA inside the Muscle Nuclei - DNA   mRNA - mRNA

The Muscle Cell in the diagram to the right is your average Muscle Cell filled with normal levels of Creatine. The space around the cell is all extracellular fluid.

Creatine Saturated Muscle Cell

The next Diagram shows the Muscle Cell becoming saturated with Creatine.

Step 1

Creatine Pulls water from the Extracellular space into the interior of the Muscle Cell filling and enlarging the muscle cell.

Step 2

The drastic increase of size by being enlarged with water puts a large strain on the muscle cell membrain.

Step 3

That strain sends a message to the nuclei of the muscle cell and sends out a signal through mRNA to increase muscle protein synthesis which in turn builds muscle!
